Born of chronic busy-ness and a love for climbing, quirk, and creating, I started Monkey Flower Outdoor in 2023 as a fun side hobby.

Having studied sustainability in college, it is hard to move through the world without noticing the amount of usable material that goes to waste. All of my products are handmade by me with my trusty 90s sewing machine and upcycled from fabrics and nontraditional materials like retired climbing rope, coffee bags, and whatever else I can get my hands on!

Always inspired by climbing, the Monkey Flower mission is to embody the roots of where the sport began, be innovative, odd  and inspired, and use things until they can’t be used anymore.
